Classical Yoga Techniques

Namaste,

My name is Siddharth Rao, and I am deeply passionate about teaching classical Yoga — a profound science of self-realisation that, in many parts of the world, has unfortunately been misunderstood or reduced to mere physical exercise. Through my own life journey, I have experienced firsthand the transformative power of authentic Yogic practice, and it is this lived experience that I wish to share with others.


My life’s mission is to elevate human consciousness through the disciplined teaching of classical Yoga techniques. I am committed to guiding individuals toward meaningful personal transformation, enabling them to embrace life fully and realise their highest potential — physically, mentally, and spiritually.


In pursuit of inner strength and self-understanding, I travelled extensively. I studied traditional Kung Fu and mixed martial arts in China, immersing myself in rigorous physical and mental conditioning. I trekked to the Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal, testing my physical limits and cultivating resilience, before continuing through remote regions of India and Nepal, where I deepened my Yogic practice through structured discipline, meditation, and mindful living.


After nearly twenty years of consistent practice, I dedicated myself to an intensive period of meditation and classical Yoga Asana practice. Over two transformative years, I experienced profound growth — physically, mentally, and emotionally. This disciplined journey allowed me to rediscover myself and gain an elevated perspective on life.


Upon returning to Australia, I further challenged myself by competing in natural bodybuilding competitions, including the ANB (Australian Natural Bodybuilding) Men’s Fitness Master Class and the ICN (I Compete Natural) Transformation Contest, winning both. These achievements were more than physical milestones; they reflected the discipline, focus, and mental clarity cultivated through authentic Yogic practice.


Today, I remain dedicated to sharing this transformative path with others — not as a trend, but as a timeless science of wellbeing, self-mastery, and holistic living.

Transformation via Nature

Through my journey and life experiences, I have come to understand how individuals can align with the natural cycles of the cosmos and harness their benefits for the human system.


I have also realized the importance of reconnecting people with ancient wisdom—ways in which humans once lived in harmony with the rhythms of life and respected these cycles for their survival. It is my intention and effort to help people cultivate a meaningful relationship with nature through practices and experiences that are in sync with its immense power—practices that enhance well-being, restore balance, and bring lasting bliss.


To support this vision, I have developed a comprehensive system of practices and training methods based on a scientific approach, informed by extensive research and training at Kaivalyadhama Yoga Research Centre, India. 


My students are guided to understand the true values of Yoga, with clear scientific explanations for each Kriya (process), Asana, Pranayama, and Dhyan (meditation). This equips them to practice and teach Yoga authentically, confidently, and effectively in the modern world.

Reality of Modern Life

We are all here for only a short time, and it is my heartfelt wish to help raise human consciousness. Through teaching classical Yoga techniques and providing practical methods for personal transformation, I aim to empower individuals to embrace a joyful life and reach their fullest potential.


In today’s fast-paced modern society, we have gradually lost touch with the Earth and the natural world. Many of us are living in an increasingly “incubated” way rather than in harmony with life itself. This disconnect can lead to a variety of physical, mental, and emotional disorders if not addressed mindfully.


Despite living convenient and comfortable lives, we are often ill-equipped to handle life’s challenges. Many people struggle to cope with stress, turning to substances like alcohol or drugs for relief. The result is widespread anxiety, depression, and a growing inability to face life’s difficulties with resilience and clarity.
